In this awesome Cartagena day tour, we’ll pick you up directly from your hotel to start an authentic experience filled with history, culture, and flavor. This day tour takes around 6 hours, combining comfortable car rides and walks to explore the vibrant colonial walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll stroll through colorful streets and visit iconic landmarks like Castillo San Felipe de Barajas, the largest and strongest fortress built by the Spaniards in the Americas, famous for defending Cartagena during the British siege of 1741. It’s the perfect way to experience Cartagena’s rich heritage and stunning architecture without the stress of walking the entire time.

After the city tour, get ready for a unique rum tasting experience lasting about two hours. Led by one of Colombia’s top local mixologists, you’ll sample a variety of rums; from popular-favorites to exclusive and premium selection; while learning about Cartagena’s pirate history and Caribbean traditions. During this interactive tasting, your guide will teach you how to properly savor rum, whether neat or in cocktails, highlighting key notes like caramel, spice, and oak.
