
Chingaza National Natural Park covers 190,000 acres of paramo, Andean forests and East Andean foothill forests. This stunning natural park is known for its diverse ecosystems like páramo, cloud forests, and high-altitude lakes, providing a habitat for a wide variety of flora and fauna.
You will find a variety of birds inside the park and also in the surrounding areas, including the Colombian national bird: the majestic Andean Condor, Black-and-chesnut Eagle, Brown-breasted Parakeet amongst many other species.
Target species: Cauca Guan, Brown-breasted Parakeet, Silvery-throated Spinetail, Black-billed Mountain-Toucan, Blue-throated Starfrontlet, Golden-faced Whitestart, Coopery-bellied Puffleg, Matorral Tapaculo, Rufous Antpitta.
